According to Dr. Deepak Bhatt, of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic; anti-inflammatory agents and antioxidants represent a revolutionary "third great wave" in cardiovascular disease prevention. As Bhatt observed in a recent review in American Journal of Cardiology, "the importance of inflammation, a potentially critical element in initiation, progression, and rupture of plaque, has become increasingly evident…The role of inflammation and its principal cause, oxidative stress, are being analyzed as potential targets" for prevention and therapy.
One of the byproducts of inflammation is C-reactive protein (CRP). Recent studies with statin drugs confirm that elevated levels of CRP are linked with cardiovascular disease, stroke, Type 2 diabetes, metabolic disease (pre-diabetes) and cancer. In a recent study, men with elevated CRP levels (>3mg/L of blood) were nearly twice as likely to die from any cause, compared to subjects with normal and low CRP levels (<1mg/L of blood).
Antioxidant The all natural antioxidants in BoiSNP are formulated to help prevent the damaging effects of oxidation. Oxidation contributes to the aging process by damaging your body’s cells. This oxidation process is thought to play a major role in causing heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.
Anti-Inflammatory BioSNP is an effective anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is strongly linked to the development of heart disease, cancer, and other ailments such as arthritis and joint pain.
SNPs (pronounced "snips") are subtypes of different genes. It is estimated that 10 to 40% of the population has disadvantaged SNPs. Examples of disadvantaged or "bad" SNPs would be those that lead to disease and premature aging. Studies in the field of nutrigenomics are finding that you can offset disease-causing genetic defects and age-related genetic damage with certain eating habits, nutritional supplements, and other lifestyle improvements, just as bad health habits and environmental factors can impair your genes.
BioSNP is a powerful nutrient rich antioxidant and anti-inflammatory formula designed to help improve and strengthen genes that have become weak and disadvantaged. BioSNP can be taken alone or with complimentary supplements like BioEndurance and Complete Daily Multi.
The synergistic combination of carefully selected antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredients in BioSNP may be helpful in reducing the risk of the following major life-threatening and disabling diseases:
The active ingredients in BioSNP are unmatched in quality and when combined, work synergistically. Some of these specialized ingredients (which are typically sold separately and are expensive) cannot be found for comparison at this time, but using the closest commercially available products we could find, here is the breakdown:

Green Tea Extract Sunphenon® decaffeinated green tea extract is a series of highly purified polyphenols rich in natural green tea catechins. These polyphenols have been shown to have numerous biochemical and physiological benefits, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-microbial, deodorant and thermogenic (fat burning) activities. Sunphenon® was honored with the Industrial Achievement Award, IFT Food Expo 2000, USA.
Turmeric Extract (BCM-95®) The bioavailability of typical turmeric 95% extracts sold in the market is very poor because there are other essential components present in turmeric rhizome which are neglected during the manufacturing process. BCM-95® is a curcuminoids complex which consists of curcumin, desmethoxy curcumin, bis-desmethoxy curcumin, and various volatile essential oils of turmeric. These natural compounds are in the right ratio which gives the synergistic effect in enhancing absorption and bioavailability. It also retains longer in the blood - up to 8 to 10 hours, as opposed to other commercially available turmeric 95% extracts which retain only up to 4 hours in the blood. With BCM-95®, you get the maximum amount of curcumin in the blood and at the same time, the level of curcumin in the blood is maintained for a longer period. Note: It would take approximately 1,750 mg of regular 95% turmeric extract and 37,500 mg of turmeric rhizome powder to equal the effect of only 250 mg of BCM-95® turmeric extract.
Grape Seed Extract The grape seed extract used in BioSNP is a concentrated blend of all natural proanthocyanidins standardized to a minimum of 95% and a minimum 90% oligomeric proanthocyanidins or OPCs. The natural compounds including proanthocyanins and flavanols, are combined and balanced for maximum absorption and bioavailability.
Pomegranate Extract PomActiv™ pomegranate extract is a rich source of phenolic compounds. As a powerful antioxidant, PomActiv™ is standardized to contain a minimum of 70% natural ellagic acid, a known marker compound which is thought to be the key to pomegranates documented health benefits.
Trans-Resveratrol This all natural standardized polygonum cuspidatum extract contains a minimum of 50% trans-resveratrol with a typical HPLC chromatogram assay analysis of 52.7% trans-resveratrol. The extraction process preserves the naturally occurring full range of other biologically beneficial elements including cis-resveratrol, insuring the remarkable health benefits of resveratrol.
Ginger Root Extract 1 part extract is blended with 6 parts ground root to maximize the effectiveness of this natural non-GMO ground ginger root.
Astaxanthin The astaxanthin used in this formula is an extract of Haematococcus plurialis, a green microalgae and one of the richest sources of natural astaxanthin.

In comparison, in the same study, calorie restriction reduced 90% of these age-related alterations in gene expression.
Anti-inflammatory Animal studies and human research indicates that resveratrol reduced or eliminated inflammation in the knees, spinal chord, and brain. Resveratrol turns on a gene that slows or stops a dangerous inflammatory process that happens in the body .
Antioxidant Resveratrol’s antioxidant action has been shown to help stop free radical damage and open arteries by enhancing nitric oxide.
Antiviral Lab studies indicate that resveratrol blocks the influenza virus from transporting viral proteins to the viral assembly site, hence restricting its ability to replicate.
Athletic Performance Animal studies demonstrated resveratrol’s ability to increase physical endurance via an increase in the number of energy producing mitochondria in muscle cells. Also, an improvement in mitochondrial function.
Cancer Resveratrol is the first natural medicine to have solid evidence behind it showing that it blocks or stops many stages of cancer. In some lineages of cancer cell culture, resveratrol has been shown to induce apoptosis, which means it may kill cancer cells.
