Standardized Tribulus

Is the Tribulus you use standardized to 45% saponins? If not, you will need to take about 4 (four) 650 mg non-standardized capsules to equal the effectiveness of one 500 mg standardized capsule.

Tribulus terrestris has been used for centuries in ancient Greece, India and Africa to increase fertility and rejuvenate the body. It wasn’t until the mid-eighties however, when a team of Bulgarian researchers determined that it may elevate testosterone production by increasing the blood levels of LH (luteinizing hormone) - a testosterone balancing hormone produced by the pituitary gland. The rest is history. Tribulus has been used by some of the worlds’ most elite athletes, but is still safe enough for the weekend ironman. In one study, Tribulus terrestris increased spermatogenesis and sexual activity in laboratory animals. Tribulus terrestris appears to raise/turn on natural testosterone production in men via the activation of hormone secretion and estradiol. Clinical studies in Bulgaria have shown Tribulus terrestris to increase the LH level by 72% and the body's own free testosterone level by 41% in healthy adult males in only five days.

Tribulus has become increasingly popular with athletes because reportedly increases strength and stamina. Studies into Trubulus' uses are ongoing.

Suggested Usage: As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1-3 times daily prior to meals.
