Thyme Thymus Vulgaris (Family, Lamiaceae (Labiatea)

Thyme is one of the most storied of all herbs, with numerous mentions throughout the histories of many different cultures. This white Thyme Oil is steam distilled from Spanish Thyme leaves. As an essential oil it imparts a herbaceous, subtly medicinal aroma. This oil is 100% pure.

Long known since ancient times as a medicinal and culinary herb. Vaporise as a household disinfectant. It has a strong pungent aroma and is said that it can ward off rodents and get rid of fleas. Dilute to no more than 2% Thyme before use. It may cause irritation to sensitive skins.

Mixes well with: Bergamot, cinnamon, clary sage, eucalyptus, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, marjoram, myrrh, oregano, palmarosa, pine, rosemary, tea tree, and wintergreen.
Extraction method: Steam or water distillation.
Parts used: Flowering tops and fresh or partially dried leaves.

Safety Information: Avoid if diagnosed with high blood pressure. Not to be used in baths. Some highly sensitive people could have a reaction, so do a patch test, first, before using neat on skin.
